I have a low threshold for pain, but my threshold for shame is even lower. What that basically comes down to is, if I fall down a flight of stairs or bang my head into a car door or something, I’m more likely to cry if somebody saw me do it than if I did it completely alone.

My Grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer's today.
It’s…it’s really upsetting. I mean, I’ve known for a long time that she wasn’t doing alright in her head; I knew she was losing pieces of her memory. She repeats herself a lot, will tell the same stories over and over. I knew something was wrong. But getting a diagnosis, especially Alzheimer’s…it’s just so final, so disheartening.

okay so apparently i'm in this Tintin thing for...
Because I just made a list of all the Tintin books and have sworn to myself to find them all and eventually buy them all, preferably in a Half-Price Bookstore. And not those crappy 3-in-1 versions, I mean all 21 of the good stories in their original individually published forms.
This is commitment, people. I wrote the list down in my Little Black Book of OCD. That really means a lot, guys.
