oh my god guys I am so bad at school spirit
I just went out to find some dinner, and there were a ton of people walking around in cowboy boots and the school’s burnt orange and my first thought was “LOL, did I miss the memo?” and then five minutes later it hit me like SHIT, I actually managed to forget that tonight is our school’s first football game—I mean how do you forget that
and, like, we have a bell-tower that plays music every afternoon and as I was still walking it started playing and I was like “LOL why is the tower playing ‘I’ve Been Working on the Railroad’?” and then five minutes later it hit me like SHIT, our Fight Song goes to the same tune as ‘Railroad’
and then after dinner I had to get a few things from CVS, so I was standing at a crosswalk waiting for the light to change when suddenly on the other end of the block a group of like forty dudes all painted up started whooping and running down the sidewalk towards me, grabbing at people and giving them high fives as they went along and I was like SHIT so as soon as the light changed (when the “Austin Hell-Raisers”, as they called themselves, were very close to accosting me) I RAN down the crosswalk
seriously, guys, why am I at college—I’m so bad at it
This guy just sent me a note on deviantART saying he loved my work and suggesting I join a site of his called “My Popped Art” dot com. And my first reaction was to go “SHIT IT’S SPAM, HE’S MAKING FUN OF ME, HE WANTS TO EAT MY COMPUTER AND MAYBE STEAL MY ART” and to run and try to figure out what it’s all about. This guy has apparently sent similar messages to dozens of people in the last two months and although I think the site is real, he’s been banned by dA once already—I have to assume he was banned for these mass messages of his. There are people who also think he’s a spammer and there are those who are actually on the site—although my instinctive paranoia says “They’re just bots! Lies, all lies!”
So yeah. I’m not interested in another art site and I don’t really feel comfortable with the way this guy runs his business. Do you think I should ignore the message or just politely decline? I’m leaning towards the latter because (according to the comments on his dA page) he tends to send several of these messages to the same person, although I’m not sure whether giving him an answer has any bearing on that.
Babies.
Last night at dinner this one baby just kept staring at me and laughing when I winked at him. I noticed his dad laughing when he realized what was going on, and the mom was just like “turn around baby” but the baby wouldn’t stop looking at me. It was fucking adorable.
In short, I love babies and babies love me. It’s one of the best parts about being me. XDD
Took the chance offered by the Homestuck hiatus to read through Jailbreak and Problem Sleuth. Skipped Bard Quest because I know there isn’t an ending.
Problem Sleuth has got to be one of the most awesome things I have ever read. I loved it soooo much :D :D :D
(And tomorrow Homestuck comes back and all shall be right with the world again!!)
I keep having dreams where my kitty Edgar comes back to life, but I’m the only one who can see him or feel him.
I don’t even know what that’s supposed to mean. :(((

As someone who identifies as non-confrontational and pacifistic, it is not my place to harbor ill will against anyone. That being said, I hope to God a piano falls upon the head of the person who keeps trolling me on deviantART.
